NPOWER INFORMATION

Npower is one of the National Social Investment Programs (NSIP) established by the current government of Nigeria. The aim of the program is to erase poverty and make the country youths self reliance. In 2016 the federal government of Nigeria under the administration of president Buhari employed two hundred thousands youths. Some of them are Nagro, Nteach, Nhealth, Ntax. Nhealth: these are working in the hospitals Nteach: These are teachers Nagro: Dealing with farming issues Ntax: Working as tax collectors These four categories are the categories of Npower. In 2018 the federal government of Nigeria also employed three hundred thousands youths into the program, making five hundred thousands volunteers. The first 200 thousands were the first batch while the 300 thousands were the second batch of the program. Npower Device The federal government of Nigeria delivered new phones to the first batch of Npower youths. But the second were not given any device. Npower wears The federal government of Nigeria distributed vests and face caps to both batch A and batch B of the program. BATCT C In the year 2020, the minister of humanitarian affairs and disaster management, Umur Saduyat Faruq said in a news that the first two batches would be disengaged, that the government of Nigeria promised 2years service while the first batch of Npower youths had been in the program for about three and the half years. She said, there staying longer in the program was hindering other youths from be meeting from the program. Therefore, the order was made that the first batch should be disengaged in 2020 while the second batch should be disengaged in July 2020, and fresh application should start. The batch C of the program began in the year 2020. Applicants were got from all the state of Nigeria. REGISTRATION Npower registration is an easy thing, once you meet the requirements. Applicants are to visit the new Npower portal which is www.nasims.gov.ng to register. The first batch and second batch used www.Npower.gov.ng during their registration and www.Npvn.gov.ng as their profile URL THE REQUIREMENTS applicants must be citizens of Nigeria Applicants must not be less than 18years of age Applicants must posses a certificate of origin Applicants must posses a minimum of OND, NCE etc Applicants must posses a means of identification. Either national I.d card, voter card Applicants must posses a valid certificate of birth CONTINUE REGISTRATION applicants are to visit www.nasims.gov.ng to register and upload necessary documents EXAMINATION applicants will be required to write a test and after be called to sit for examination. The successful applicant's will be Shortlisted for further processing. BATCH C STREAMS The Npower batch C are in two streams. The stream one have been given appointment letters and have started their work since 2021. The application processes of the stream 2 continued this year. The applicants are to login to their profiles and validate their information NPOWER FINGER PRINT, BIOMETRIC ENROLLMENT Stream one and stream two of the npower batch C are to do the finger prints biometric enrollment.
